Text - The Lords Prayer

Christianity, Origin: The gospel of Matthew, chapter 6

Our Father, which art in heaven,

Hallowed be thy Name.

Thy Kingdom come.

Thy will be done in earth,

As it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses,

As we forgive them that trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation,

But deliver us from evil.

For thine is the kingdom,

The power, and the glory,

For ever and ever.

Amen.

Text - The Fatiha

Islam, Origin: The opening words of the Qur'an

In the name of Allah, Most gracious, Most merciful Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the Worlds Most Gracious, Most Merciful. Master of the Day of Judgement Thee do we worship, and Thine aide we seek Show us the straight way The way of those on whom Thou has bestowed thy Grace, those whose portion Is not wrath, and who do not go astray
